Rice Milk Buns - Mantou

A quick, convenient, and delightful choice for a relaxing breakfast or afternoon tea! If you're a fan of Bun (mantou), why not give this Rice Milk Mantou recipe a try?

【Here's what you'll need】
● #RICEPATHY black rice milk or millet rice milk 190g
● all-purpose flour 300g
● Yeast 3g
● sugar 10g

【Here's how to make it:】
1. Start by pouring 300g of all-purpose flour into a bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, mix 3g of yeast into 180g of rice milk until it dissolves. Add sugar and give it another good stir.
3. Gradually pour the rice milk mixture into the flour while gently stirring with chopsticks until it forms lumpy bits.
4. Now, it's time to knead the dough with your hands until it becomes smooth and elastic. Divide it into your preferred sizes, shape them into lovely round balls, and seal the ends by tucking them underneath.
5. Let the dough rest and rise until it approximately doubles in size, allowing the flavors to develop.
6. Once ready, place the bun in the steamer filled with room-temperature water, turn the heat to high, and let it steam for 15 minutes.

A little tip: Adding sugar can help speed up the fermentation process, but it's completely up to your personal taste preference.
Enjoy these homemade Rice Milk Mantou as a comforting and satisfying treat.
